Episode 2
"Memories"

Episode 2 was definitely a bit more exciting compared to episode 1, which I'm pretty happy about. It's obvious that the heroine will be in every episode, so I'll just be featuring the other characters. Let's not prolong this review shall we?

Featured Characters

New Characters

In this episode, Waka (the manager) had planned out a trip for everyone working in the cafe to watch a meteor shower. As we go on with the episode, the heroine (still nameless apparently) begins to see parts of her lost memories. Usually containing one of the boys she works with, namely Kent and Shin in this episode.

Before the trip, the heroine almost got herself into an accident again as she was on her way home. Luckily Ukyo was there to save her before the car ran her over. Unlike in the first episode, Ukyo appears to be more calmer less insane and sweeter. He says that he and the heroine met before, but sadly she couldn't remember. When Ukyo realizes this, he asks her to be more careful next time and said his goodbye to the heroine.

-Time Skip-

The next day, everyone arrived to their destination in one piece. I found it very amusing when Waka managed to predict that the rain would stop, just because he could "smell" it. They stayed at a villa that was located on top of a hill during their trip. As they were on their way, a memory flashes before the heroine. It was a memory where she and Kent were attending a festival. Although when she inquired Kent about it, he said they didn't attend a festival together. Personally, I get the feeling it could be something that will happen in the future instead of it being part of her past. Not really sure but the story plot is pretty deep and even I found this challenging to understand fffffff--

Moving on.

We get to see some friendly guy vs guy challenge between the four boys. For the most part, it just had to be an air hockey game not that I'm complaining, they looked mighty fiiine when they played. Toma and Shin lost against Ikki and Kent during the game, although I found it funny since Kent didn't do anything except be Ikki's strategist. But then again, Ikki did say he was good with any game that involved his hands. pffft I wonder what other "games" he's good at

After a few other rounds, everyone decided to call it a day and go back to villa. But, unlike the others, Shin got a little suspicious with the heroine. Most likely because she wasn't acting like herself due to her memory loss. They both stayed behind the group on the trail, which Orion found a bad thing since they were trying to keep her amnesia a secret. When the heroine tripped and Shin caught her, another memory flashed before the heroine; it was a memory where Shin admitted he had killed a man. Due to the sudden panic, the heroine freed herself from Shin's grip and made a run for it.

The creepy part is when Ukyo suddenly appeared out of nowhere LOL. I mean, I literally freaked out when he suddenly took the flashlight and became his psychopathic version again. It's like he plays peek-a-boo, goes either sweet or crazy and then onward to the next episode hahaha

*cough* Carrying on, the heroine wasn't aware on where she was going, which led her to slip and fall on the side of cliff. Which by the way, gave me a mini heart attack because I thought she was going to die or something.

The good part, she's alive and well; the bad part, she somehow ended up back in time to August 1st. The heroine was in the hospital, and Orion was no longer there. This is where it actually starts getting confusing, although what made me all giddy and fangirl over this episode is this ending scene in the hospital. Excuse me while I spazz forever

The episode ends when Shin kisses the heroine in the hospital. Which already gives me an idea that before the heroine lost her memories, she and Shin were together. Of course only the next episode will tell us if that's true or not. I liked how they had a extra scene on this episode, it ended with Shin discharging the heroine from the hospital.

Although I'm still confused on which timeline she's in. Unlike episode 1, I will admit this episode is bit more interesting and redeemed itself by the very dramatic ending. I sort of realized that the pacing is a bit fast, and what sucks more is that this anime will only be 12 episodes. I'm praying this anime will be like Uta No Prince-sama, this would be the first season and the second season will follow afterwards. But nonetheless, this episode was a bit boring. I think the ending made up for the dullness in this episode haha. Really psyched to know what happens on the next episode!

Hope you all enjoyed the review! Time for Episode 3

Nana
