Brother's Conflict

Hoho! Brother's Conflict is the latest Otome game and manga that has been adapted into a series! I've been very excited to watch this series ever since I heard the news it was getting an anime adaptation! The first episode immediately won me over and right now it's taking a lot of self control to keep myself patient for the next episode. SUMMARY:
After her mom re-married, Ema moved into the Asahina Family House and acquired 11 brothers. Ema intended to live peacefully with them as a family, but the sudden appearance of a girl in an all male household causes discord. Going on with their lives, the brother's feelings for Ema change and the start of a same roof forbidden romance begins.

Best summary ever, ain't it? (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) I've been a big fan of Otome games for such a long time now and I'm amazed that I never get tired of them. Being a fan of reverse harem as well, the unveiling of this anime just made me want to flip everything and have nosebleeds to my heart's content. What I love about this anime most, the bishounen CATERS TO ALL FETISHES (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) Yes fangirls, every guy type you like is in this anime. Bet you're wondering what kind of bishounen we're encountering this time, right? Well I'm pleased to tell you that we'll be having 11 very fine men to keep us company during the series (●´∀｀●) (There's 12 of them, but Wataru -10 yrs old- doesn't really count lol!) Ema Hinata (朝日奈 絵麻)
Voiced by: Rina Satō (anime only)

"The teenage daughter of the well-known adventurer Rintarou Hinata. She is in her second year of high school. After her father remarries, she moves in with her new step-brothers. She is very good at cooking. Due to her father always leaving home for work, she felt alone. But now with her new family, she feels happy. She has a pet talking squirrel named Juli who can only communicate with her and Louis. In anime, she is often to be called Chi. She's currently 16 years old."

I adore Ema! She's a very wonderful heroine for this series. From all the reverse harem animes I've seen recently, Ema has been by far, the best heroine for me. Not only is she extremely adorable and pretty, but her whole personality is definitely a delight! Seeing the first episode, I can't really decipher her personality that well yet, but from what I saw; I knew I was going to like her. Which is why I'll be reading the manga LOL.

For the next part, I'll be presenting all the bishounen with some basic information about them. I'll save my review and comments about them once the series finishes.（￣ー￣）



Masaomi Asahina (朝日奈 雅臣)

"The oldest son of the Asahina family. He is a doctor who well-versed in his knowledge of medicine. However, he is not as competent as he faints at the sight of blood. He loves children and shares a special bond with the youngest brother, Wataru. He's currently 31 years old."





Ukyo Asahina (朝日奈 右京)

"Second son of the Asashina family. He is a successful lawyer and acts as the mother figure to the household. He cooks, cleans and helps them studying for school. He has a calm and reliable personality, but can also be very talkative. He's currently 29 years old"



Kaname Asashina (朝日奈 要)

"Third son of the Asahina family. He has the charms of a playboy and a womanizing nature, but he is actually a monk. He's currently 28 years old."




Hikaru Asahina (朝日奈 光)

"Fourth son of the Asashina family. He is a cross-dressing novelist who likes watching his older brothers reactions around Ema. He went to Italy for a short time to gather material for his work. Age 27"



Tsubaki Asahina (朝日奈 椿)

"The fifth son and one of the triplets. He is a seiyū alongside his identical triplet brother Azusa. He is cheeky but is hard-working and has passion in his career. He loves and cares for Azusa. Age 24"
Azusa Asahina (朝日奈 梓)
Voiced by: Kousuke Toriumi

"The sixth son and one of the triplets. Like his identical triplet brother Tsubaki, he is also a seiyũ. Unlike Tsubaki, he is more calm and lacks to tenacity to do things. Age 24"



Natsume Asahina (朝日奈棗)
Voiced by: Tomoaki Maeno

"The seventh son and one of the triplets. Unlike Azusa and Tsubaki, he is a fraternal triplet. He works as a salaryman at a game company. Unlike the rest of the brothers, he lives alone. He has a blunt way of talking, but is very good at looking after others. Age 24"




Louis Asahina (朝日奈 琉生)
Voiced by: Ken Takeuchi

"The eighth son of the Asahina family. He works as a hairdresser. He is a beautiful and mysterious man, always looking up at the clouds. He is the only other person beside Ema who can communicate with Juli. Age 21"


Subaru Asahina (朝日奈 昴)
Voiced by: Daisuke Ono

"The ninth son of the Asahina family. He is a college sophomore and is very athletic, being on the basketball team. He has no knowledge about girls, so he doesn't know how to deal with them. As a result, he gets tense when around Ema. Age 19"




Iori Asashina (朝日奈 祈織)
Voiced by: Daisuke Namikawa

"The tenth son of the Asashina family. He is a high school senior and he is know for having a prince-like behavior. He is very popular, he is well-known in other high schools. He is very accepting of Ema, when she comes in to the family. Age 18"


Yusuke Asashina (朝日奈 侑介)
Voiced by: Yoshimasa Hosoya

"The eleventh son of the Asashina family. He is a delinquent and a classmate of Ema. He has a righteous personality and hates anything being incorrect, despite also being a delinquent. He has a crush on Ema, and is very confused when she is accepted in the family. Age 16"




Fūto Asahina (朝日奈 風斗)
Voiced by: KENN

"The twelfth son of the Asahina Family. He is in the 9th grade and a very popular idol. He has a devilish and cheeky personality, However, he can be very mature for his age. Age 14"

And last but definitely not the least, the very shota baby brother!
Wataru Asashina (朝日奈 弥)

Voiced by: Yūki Kaji

"The thirteenth and youngest son of the Asahina family. He is a ten-year old child in the 5th grade. He is sweet and honest, but very spoiled. His sometimes spoiled behavior may be due to the over-protection of his older brothers. Age 10"


Well that's definitely one long list of bishounen. But who am I to complain? You living in the same house with 11 deliciously handsome brothers to accompany you with a very cute baby brother to top it all off? SIGN ME UP PLEASE.

If I can recall, new episodes are released every Wednesday; those are the ones with subtitles on them. But putting the schedule aside, I have big hopes for this anime and I'm pretty sure the animators won't let us down. After all, Brother's Conflict is also from Idea Factory; the same creators of AMNESIA. Speaking of which, the opening of the anime is very similar to Amnesia's opening as well! If you noticed (I think near the ending) the boy who's about to kiss Ema keeps changing just like in the Amnesia opening. But it was never revealed who got to kiss her in the end. THE SUSPENSE!

Will be reading the manga as I go along with this series, and hopefully I can get a hold of the game too! Very excited and just about ready to fangirl like mad in the future episodes. My ovaries are DEFINITELY ready.
