The Head Feline Tasha

"They will fear the wild..." - Nidalee

League of Legends has been a big hit in the gaming world recently, and of course the cosplayers refuse to be left behind. Being a LoL player myself, I give my utmost respect to  the cosplayers who give justice to the many heroes I adore and use in the game. Of course, I didn't have any second thoughts when I discovered a very talented lady from the lands of Korea.

This particular lady has amazed her fans with her detailed and intricate armor from a handful of her amazing cosplays. She has mesmerized both men and women with her beauty and never ceased to make everyone stop and stare at her breathe-taking photos.

TASHA  or also known as GO-EUN OH is a cosplayer reigning from the Republic of Korea who made a name for herself with her jaw dropping portrayals of numerous iconic female characters from several famous console and pc games. Unlike the regular list of cosplays most female cosplayers have, Tasha is one of those who concentrate on a genre; and for her, that genre is games. Tasha has a large number of cosplays everyone remembers her for, but one of the most memorable was her portrayal of Katarina and Nidalee, two well-known heroines of League of Legends. Another is her amazing portrayal of the Demon Hunter class from Diablo III In her anime side, Tasha presents the many attires of the famous Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier, a diva who has played a big role in Tasha's career and became one of her signature cosplays.

Tasha is well-known not only for her photos, but also with her guesting and live performances. She has also shared that Sheryl Nome is one of her favorite characters to cosplay, which gave Tasha the determination to cosplay ALL of Sheryl's attires. Won't believe me?

Here are a sample of 18 Sheryl Nome cosplays done by Tasha.
She has done more versions than this, but I couldn't squeeze all of them because I didn't want to spam too much Sheryl on this entry.

Imagine how much Sheryl costumes Tasha keeps in her closet! She has been the first person I've seen, doing over 20 Sheryl Nome cosplays and probably counting! I'm amazed she kept her word and has continued to increase the number of Sheryl Nome cosplays in her portfolio. Not only has got the costume right, but Tasha is almost like the real Sheryl herself! She's very hyperactive and at the same time gives that "diva" feel in each of her photos. But nonetheless, she has maintained her humbleness and carried herself as a cosplayer quite beautifully.

Tasha as Alexstrasza from World of Warcraft

Being a cosplayer from Korea, Tasha has explained that a lot of her fellow cosplayers stopped the hobby after they've graduated or have begun working; making the population of cosplayers in Korea very little. But even with that, Tasha has continued to stay firm with her passion. Before Tasha became the influential lady she is today, she has taken the early steps every cosplayer takes when they engage themselves in the hobby. Just like everyone else who joins in this hobby, Tasha started small; and gradually began to bloom as time progressed.

Tasha who is now 26, shared that she had begun to take interest in the hobby when she was only 15 years old, and further on began her life as a cosplayer by 1999. Tasha has been cosplaying for over 14 years and counting. With that amount of time, she has continued to improve and excelled in her hobby that now became her job. Before Tasha became a professional cosplayer, she used to work as a stylist for a photography studio that focused on weddings. When enough support came, Tasha decided to make her hobby into her career. But, she didn't walk on this road alone; by 2009 Tasha formed one of the most popular cosplay groups: Spiral Cats. The team is composed of four members with Tasha being the leader of the group. With the big success of Spiral Cats, they not only began making a name for the group; but also a name for themselves.

This head feline of ours remains to be who she is whether she's in costume or not. Just like other iconic cosplayers, she has shown how much determination, passion and hard work it requires to pursue this expressive hobby. Tasha communicates with her supporters through her e-mail and curecos account, with her capability to speak english; fans all over the world shower much deserved love to this talented cosplayer. As the years go by, Tasha remains humble and thankful to everyone who has continued to support her and her career. With her love for travel, she's always excited to meet new people and to visit interesting new places that she can make new memories in. With her workload demanding a large portion of her time, Tasha is worth admiring because she fights and conquers her exhaustion to finish the task she has started. When I read one of her interviews, Tasha revealed that she wants to continue cosplaying even if she's old! She even said she wanted to cosplay Sophie of Howl's Moving Castle if the time ever comes for her to retire. To be able to read that, I have big respect for this cosplayer. It tells me that Tasha, is one of the millions of cosplayers who love and cherish their hobby to the point that even if they're no longer the youthful people they used to be; they will never stop doing what they love to do.
